“I’ve been suffering from mental health issues for as long as I can remember but has become worse after my Father passed August 2012.

I began seeing a therapist about a year afterward and was then diagnosed over time with major depressive disorder with psychotic features, borderline personality disorder, generalized anxiety disorder with panic attacks, PTSD, ADD and a learning disorder.

I still struggle a lot but I am loving life despite my father’s death. I use a lot of dialectical behavior therapy skills and I write in my journal daily so I can look back on positive stuff when I’m feeling down.”
